You’ll hike through lush tropical rainforests, spot black-and-white colobus monkeys in the treetops, and explore the same trails taken by the very first Kilimanjaro explorers. The Marangu Route is known for its accessibility and scenic views, making it an excellent choice for a short mountain escape.
1-Day Trek: Hike up to Mandara Hut and return the same day. A great way to stretch your legs and soak in the mountain atmosphere.
2-Day Trek: Spend the night at Mandara Hut, then hike further up towards Horombo Hut or Maundi Crater for even more breathtaking views before descending.
