Tarangire National Park

After breakfast (around 7:30 AM), your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and notify the reception that they are ready to begin your adventure. Once you meet your driver-guide, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park. By approximately 10:00 AM, you’ll be enjoying your first game drive in one of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife areas. Tarangire is well-known for its impressive elephant population, often found near the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source. In addition to elephants, you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and many more fascinating species. While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed due to the natural movements of animals, your guide will do their utmost to ensure you have the best possible experience. Safari drivers are in constant radio communication, sharing updates to help locate elusive or rare animals throughout the park. At midday, you’ll pause for a lunch break with a picnic meal, after which the game drive will continue. By late afternoon or early evening, you’ll be transferred to your lodge or camp for an overnight stay. Important Notes: Please pay special attention to park regulations and your guide’s instructions to ensure both your safety and the preservation of the ecosystem. Exiting the vehicle is strictly prohibited except in designated areas. Violating this rule can result in significant fines or even license revocation for safari companies. Off-road driving is not allowed to protect the fragile savannah environment. Smoking is permitted only with great caution. Always fully extinguish and safely dispose of cigarette butts to avoid the risk of fire. Kindly avoid placing your feet on the seats or sitting on the seatbacks in the safari vehicle, as this can cause unnecessary wear and damage. Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy your first day on safari!

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Today, an early start offers the best chance to witness wildlife during their most active hours. Breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes to allow for a timely departure. At approximately 6:30 AM, you will depart the hotel and begin the journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Within about an hour, you’ll descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World, Ngorongoro is one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. Nowhere else in Tanzania will you find such an incredible density and diversity of wildlife within such a small area. Here, you’ll likely spot buffalo, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and lions, as well as more elusive species such as caracals and servals. With some luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the rare and endangered black rhinoceros. Around midday, you’ll stop beside the crater’s lake for a scenic picnic lunch. Afterward, your game drive continues, exploring more of this unique caldera and its thriving ecosystem. In the late afternoon, the safari concludes, and you’ll return to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved evening of rest.
