DAY 1
Arrival
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your group will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Velam Tours and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Note: Hotel rates include breakfast only, and check-in is available from 2:00 PM onward.

DAY 2
Tarangire National Park
Day 1: Safari Adventure in Tarangire National Park After breakfast around 7:30 AM, your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and notify the receptionist of their arrival. Once you meet your guide and driver, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, aiming to begin your first game drive by 10:00 AM. Tarangire is renowned for its stunning wildlife, including lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and more. However, the park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants, which are often seen around the Tarangire River, their primary water source. Please keep in mind that while your guide will do their best to help you spot all the wildlife you're hoping for, nature can be unpredictable. Guides use radios to communicate with one another, coordinating efforts to find rare or elusive species. At lunchtime, you’ll be provided with a packed meal. Afterward, the safari continues, and you’ll return to the hotel by evening. Important Notes: Safety First: Please follow the rules of the national park and our company guidelines throughout the safari. Exiting the vehicle: It is strictly prohibited to leave your vehicle unless in designated areas. Violations of this rule can result in heavy fines and possible revocation of the tour operator’s license. Off-road driving is prohibited to preserve the delicate ecosystem. Smoking: While allowed, please dispose of cigarette butts carefully to avoid causing fires in the savanna. Respect for the vehicle: Please refrain from putting your feet on the seats or sitting on the back of the seats as this can damage the vehicle and affect the overall safari experience.

DAY 3
Lake Manyara
Early wake up time, breakfast and travel to Lake Manyara. The entire territory of this park is cut through with ground water streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and, in addition, for a multitude of birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals. Around lunchtime you will visit the Maji Moto hot springs and the driver will provide you with personal lunchboxes. After this stop the safari will continue, and by evening you will be transferred to a hotel.

DAY 4
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
It’s best to leave the hotel early to catch the animals that are most active in the morning hours. Your breakfast will be packed into lunchboxes for convenience. By 6:30 AM, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and in about an hour, you'll be inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most renowned parks, largely due to its incredible concentration of animal species. It’s often referred to as the "Garden of Eden" because it boasts the highest density of wildlife per square kilometer on the planet. Here, you can spot buffaloes, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, and hippopotamuses, as well as carnivores like caracals and servals. The luckiest travelers may even spot a rhino, a rare sight due to their declining population. By lunchtime, you'll stop at the lake for a break, where you’ll enjoy a packed meal before the safari resumes. In the evening, you'll be transferred back to the hotel in Arusha.

DAY 5
Departure
Spend your final day relaxing at the hotel before your transfer to the airport for departure. Note: Hotel check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you have a late evening flight and would like to stay longer, a late check-out until 6:00 PM can be arranged for an additional fee. Please let the hotel reception know in advance if you'd like to extend your stay.
